GOVERNORS AND PREMIERS
May 4-6, 2018
The 2018 Summit of North American Governors and Premiers took place on May 4-6, 2018, in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Summit was hosted by the U.S. National Governors Association (NGA), together with the Council of the Federation and the National Conference of Governors of Mexico (CONAGO).
The goal of the Summit was to promote and advance cooperation by the leaders of the federated states of the world’s most dynamic continent, which generates a combined GDP of nearly $21 trillion per annum with a population of 486 million. The Summit focused on economic development and trade through improvements and innovations in infrastructure and supply chain management, labour mobility and workforce development, and enhanced investment.
