Canada’s Premiers to Hold Virtual News Conference on March 4, 2021

Media representatives are asked to connect by 12:45 pm ET on Thursday, March 4. Please ensure you enter your name and media outlet (use “name/outlet”). We will use a waiting room prior to the meeting commencing; when the news conference starts, you will be automatically connected.

To ask a question, media representatives should use the “raise your hand” feature on Zoom. Please note that we will not take questions via telephone.

Interpretation
English-French and French-English interpretation will be available.

COVID-19 Measures
Those attending the news conference in person must not have symptoms that are similar to those of COVID-19, nor have been in contact with a person who has tested positive within the last 14 days. Please note that wearing a face mask is mandatory.

The Council of the Federation comprises all 13 provincial and territorial Premiers. It enables Premiers to work collaboratively, form closer ties, foster constructive relationships among governments, and show leadership on important issues that matter to Canadians.
