The Council of the Federation Excellence in Water Stewardship Award recognized outstanding achievements, innovative practice and leadership in the area of water stewardship. The award was presented in 2013 and 2014 to organizations, partnerships, businesses, institutions, and community groups in each province and territory across Canada.
The award builds on the Council’s Water Charter, which was endorsed by Premiers in 2010. The Charter recognizes the collective obligation of Canadians and their governments to promote water conservation and protect water quality.
