Canada’s Premiers to Hold Meeting in Ottawa on December 9, 2016
December 7, 2016 – A meeting of Canada’s Premiers will take place on Friday, December 9, prior to the First Ministers’ Meeting scheduled later that day. The meeting will be chaired by Sandy Silver, Premier of Yukon.
Location: Fairmont Château Laurier Hotel, 1 Rideau Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
Time: Premiers will meet for a private session from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.
Information for Media: A uni-mic will be available in the lobby area of the Fairmont Château Laurier Hotel as follows:

Individuals will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives. An ID badge will be provided to all accredited media at the registration desk.
The Council of the Federation comprises all 13 provincial and territorial Premiers. It enables Premiers to work collaboratively, form closer ties, foster constructive relationships among governments, and show leadership on important issues that matter to Canadians.
