Canada is made up of several different labour markets, and any changes to the TFWP must reflect these differences. Premiers call on the federal government to commit to working collaboratively with provinces and territories to address the impact of changes to the TFWP to ensure that any adverse outcomes are addressed and to ensure responsiveness to regional economic needs.
